Caught plenty of 12-20lb common and mirror under the tree opposite the fountain using salty squid boilies.

Fantastic place, fantastic hosts, Cliff and Vicky. Loved the Musee de Cidre and the memorial at Ver-Sur-Mer.

As usual, everything is peaceful - only birdsong and seeing butterflies!

Tony did well fishing and Derek caught on our last evening. It was very hot start of the week but was dry again. Will be back next year.

Tracey, Stew and Ash

First fish caught by Stew: 7lbs 14oz common carp, followed by a 10lb 8oz mirror carp- great start to the holiday!  Over the holiday, they caught approximately 96 fish between them! We have been on some lovely trips: Fontaine St Daniel. Jublains, Mayenne, reminding us what a beautiful area this is. We love Le Moulin de Fontenay and this trip has made us fall further in love with it!  The place feels like home – welcoming, comfortable and a place filled with so many happy memories.  We will be sorry to leave.
